Jenny van Hooff
Jenny van Hooff is Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Manchester Met and Co-Lead of the Contemporary Intimacies, Genders & Sexualities Research Group. Her research interests focus on intimacies in various relationships and settings. Her work seeks to critically interrogate heteronormative frameworks and explore the diverse relationships and encounters that go beyond what is traditionally understood by ‘family sociology’. She has published on couple relationships, sexual practices, infidelity, dating apps, friendship and sex work, and is the author of Modern Couples: Continuity and Change in Heterosexual Relationships.
