My younger self: I liked the idea of universally valid laws, as they exist in science, and that we have the opportunity to explore and understand basically everything. In the words of Gotthold Ephraim Lessing “The ultimate purpose of science is: truth.”
What a PhD student can expect from me: Exciting science using innovative methodologies in the field of translational cancer research to better understand the biology of diseases and thus improve therapies in the long term.
My favourite lab tool: I am a total fan of NGS and I find colorful IMC images of tissues (even with tumors) incredibly beautiful!
