My younger self: …much enjoyed working on my first own projects in a multinational research environment, interacting with and learning from researchers around the world. Cancer research is (still) right for me, but over time my focus widened from the genome to the epigenome.

What a PhD student can expect from me: Support, in the form of opportunities, guidance, feedback, patience, the chance to network, the freedom to develop…

Me as a biomolecule: I’m intrigued by environmentaIly triggered changes in gene expression. There are so many fascinating molecules involved in this process, that it is difficult to choose, but I would be an epigenetic regulator.
