• Sports offers

  For sports, fitness and workout, the University of Salzburg has two top-class offers ready: At the University Sports Institute USI and the University Fitness Centre UFZ, individual exercise needs are catered for, from acrobatics to Zumba.

  USI – University Sports Institute

  The University Sports Institute offers sports courses for beginners and advanced students during the respective semester. In addition to individual sports, interested students will find numerous team and fashionable sports. Each course is professionally led. Optimum exercise, fun and health are guaranteed.

  UFZ – University Fitness Centre

  The University Fitness Centre is a modern fitness centre run with sports science expertise that offers students optimal training conditions at very favourable conditions.

• Language Centre

  The Language Centre has been in existence since 1999 as a service facility of Paris Lodron University Salzburg; the central concern of the Centre is to promote multilingualism. That is why the Language Centre offers language courses for students and staff of PLUS and Mozarteum as well as for external language enthusiasts. The Language Centre currently offers courses in 12 predominantly European languages, but also in non-European languages (Arabic and Japanese), and the range of courses is constantly being developed. More than 50 teachers teach in the courses of the Language Centre and the VPLUS, the pre-study course to prepare for supplementary examinations. Thanks to the dedicated staff, language teaching at the PLUS Language Centre is always characterised by high quality and innovation.

• Supplementary Study Programmes

  Supplementary Study Programmes are thematically bundled and coordinated courses that enable regular PLUS students to set an additional focus and acquire interdisciplinary competences and skills in addition to or within their studies. Completed supplements and specialisations are confirmed with a PLUS certificate and can be used at the same time – depending on the provisions in the respective curriculum – for the free electives.

• University choir and University orchestra

  The University Chamber Choir Collegium Musicum Salzburg welcomes all friends of music! The symphony orchestra is also open to PLUS students and teachers as well as all other interested musicians.
