Since July 2022, Martin Stempfhuber is a Senior Scientist at the Devision of Sociology at the University of Salzburg. In 2010, he received his Ph.D. from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich for a thesis entitled “Paargeschichten. Zur performativen Herstellung von Identität”. He has directed a research project on “Öffentlichkeit und Privatheit im Web 2.0”. His academic career includes teaching and research positions at the universities of Munich, Mainz, Hamburg, and Würzburg.
