The University Library of Salzburg has signed an Open Access agreement with the publisher Springer. Corresponding authors affiliated with the University of Salzburg can publish open access in Springer journals with hybrid option without restrictions or additional costs.

Which article types are accepted?
Original Paper, Review Paper, Brief Communication, Continuing Education

What licence is granted?
CC BY

How are eligible authors identified?
Authors are identified by the affiliation, the institutional email domain or the IP address given when submitting the article.

Process

  1. Eligible authors are identified by Springer upon submission of the article.
  2. The corresponding author chooses the free open access option
  3. The University Library verifies whether the corresponding author is affiliated with the University of Salzburg.
  4. The publication is published open access under a Creative Commons licence.
