The University Library of Salzburg has signed an open access agreement with the publisher IEEE. Corresponding authors affiliated with the University of Salzburg can publish open access in journals with hybrid option or fully gold open access journals without restrictions and at no additional cost.

How are eligible authors identified?
Authors are identified by the IEEE by the institutional e-mail address given when submitting the article.
Please use the university email address (max.mustermann@plus.ac.at) during submission.

Process

  1. Eligible publications are identified by IEEE upon submission of the article.
  2. The corresponding author chooses the free open access option.
  3. The University Library verifies whether the corresponding author is affiliated with the University of Salzburg and approves funding.
  4. The publication is published open access under a Creative Commons licence.
