Intercultural Theology

Intercultural Theology reflects the understanding and transformation of Christian faith in different societies and cultural traditions (contextual theology), the methods and principles of doing theology in a global world (intercultural theological epistemology), the relations between different religious traditions (comparative theology) and the challenge of other religions for the self-understanding of Christianity (theology of religions).

Religious Studies

Religious Studies deals with religions, spiritualities and worldviews as a cultural science. It analyses texts, rituals, media, objects, history, spaces, aesthetics, economics, conflicts as well as learning and dialogue processes of individuals and society. Religious Studies also examines changes due to migration, pluralization and global dynamics in the context of religious identity.
