Occupational medicine
Occupational medicine is a preventive discipline within the framework of employee protection. It influences the design of workplaces and work processes and aims to prevent health hazards.
According to the Employee Protection Act, the task of occupational health care is to support and advise employers and employees in the implementation of employee protection in the company. In doing so, they are involved in all questions of prevention related to stress at work, such as the humane design of work, health protection and occupational hygiene.
The occupational physicians regularly visit the workplaces, are in constant contact with all those concerned and work closely with the safety officer and, if necessary, with other specialists.
