De Gruyter
The University Library of Salzburg has signed an Open Access agreement with the publisher De Gruyter. Corresponding authors affiliated with the University of Salzburg can publish open access in De Gruyter journals with hybrid option and fully gold open access journals without additional costs.
Funding via the Open Access publishing agreement is granted depending on the availability of funds.
In which journals can I publish?
In all subscribed journals of De Gruyter with Open Access option and Open Access journals of De Gruyter. A complete list can be found here.

How are eligible authors identified?
Authors are identified by the affiliation and institutional email domain given when submitting the article.
Please use the university email address (max.mustermann@plus.ac.at) during submission.
Procedure
- Eligible publications are identified by De Gruyter upon submission of the article.
- The corresponding author chooses the free open access option.
- The University Library verifies whether the corresponding author is affiliated with the University of Salzburg and approves funding.
- The university library pays the reduced publication fees based on the publishing agreement.
