What will I learn?
Medical biology is regarded as one of the central leading sciences required to manage global challenges such as demographic and environmental change with their accompanying diseases such as cancer, allergies, autoimmunity, and infectious diseases, as well as circulatory disorders and cardiac, metabolic and degenerative diseases. A detailed understanding of the complex molecular genetic, cellular and physiological processes in the human disease process, the identification of new diagnostic, prognostic and predictive biomarkers, as well as the development and production of innovative medication provides the precondition for customized and highly effective therapeutic approaches and targeted prevention measures. The Master’s course in Medical Biology offers a forward-looking high-quality education on the interface of basic research and transnational, clinical and pharmaceutical research.
