Focus

Rhetorical skills such as presenting, arguing, and discussing are in high demand across nearly all professional fields and life situations. The supplementary study programme “Rhetoricum” and the interdisciplinary study focus “Rhetoricum maius” were established to prepare students for rhetorical challenges in everyday life and professional settings. During the course of study, rhetorical courses help improve individual knowledge communication: students learn to structure their academic presentations coherently and present themselves more confidently.

Target Groups

The supplementary study programme “Rhetoricum” are intended as a basic education in rhetoric, aiming to provide both practical rhetorical skills and the necessary theoretical foundation. The study focus “Rhetoricum maius” allows for individual specialisation and deepens the knowledge already acquired. For teacher training students and those interested in adult education and communication, the “Rhetoricum” offers a solid foundation for developing professional rhetoric training.
