University Course Spiritual Theology in the Interreligious Process
The university course is aimed at people who want to strengthen their spiritual roots with depth and foresight and enter into dialogue with other spiritual traditions. In particular to employees in the fields of education (schools, adult education), churches (pastoral, religious orders, science) as well as helping and healing professions (therapy, counselling, medicine).The university course Spiritual Theology in the Interreligious Process (ULG) offers an in-depth examination of:
- fundamental theoretical and practical questions of mysticism – cultural and theological prerequisites for understanding the Christian-Western tradition
- central spiritualities of the history of Christianity
- selected mystical and piety traditions of four other religions
- Questions about joint religious celebrations and interfaith prayers
Accompanying Seminars
Since 2007, in addition to the university course Spiritual Theology in the Interreligious Process, seminars on the topic of “Living Religion” have been held in the hall of the Salzburger Nachrichten in addition to the university course Spiritual Theology in the Interreligious Process.
