The University Library of Salzburg has signed an Open Access agreement with the publisher brill. Corresponding authors affiliated with the University of Salzburg can publish open access in Brill journals without restrictions or additional cost.

In any Brill journal (Gold and Hybrid)

All article types.

How are eligible authors identified?

Process

  1. Eligible publications are identified by the publisher upon submission of the article
  2. The corresponding author chooses the free open access option and confirms affiliation with Universität Salzburg
  3. Upon acceptance, the author will receive a payment notification from Copyright Clearance Centre. Although authors do not have to pay anything, please click on the link and follow the steps.The waiver should be automatically applied, but if not, please click “Apply Discounts” and select the institution from the dropdown menu.
  4. The publication is published open access under a Creative Commons licence.
