In ecology and evolution experimental design and correct data analysis are of key importance. In this course we teach you how to use the program R for statistical analyses and graphing. We cover basic statistical tests (t-tests, regression, ANOVA) and more advanced techniques (multivariate analyses, generalized models, mixed effects models). We also discuss how to formulate a scientific hypothesis and how to develop suitable experimental designs. After completing this course you will be able to design own experiments and analyse data from your own projects independently.
