Administration and services
Organising teaching and research
Around 900 people work in administration at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg. The general university staff ensure the proper organisation of teaching and research operations for around 1,900 academic staff and almost 18,000 students. Employees work in the central administration and in the study departments. These service departments are responsible for study programme administration, provision of IT services, upkeep of university buildings as well as all personnel and financial agendas. The University Library holds more than 2.4 million media (books, e-books, audio-visual media, etc.). Many other administrative units, such as Quality Management, Research Services, Flexible Learning, International Relations or Public Relations also make an important contribution to the success of the university.
