What will I learn?
In the BEd degree teacher training programme for the subject of Spanish, students deal with the Spanish language, literature and the cultural aspects of the Spanish speech area. Students hone their language skills including listening, reading, oral and writing skills. Students will be qualified to analyse the development and current functioning of Spanish and to adequately examine literary periods, currents, genres, authors and works. Furthermore, students will acquire a profound and differentiated knowledge of the cultural aspects of Spanish linguistic areas. With teaching practices and by trying out teaching materials, courses in teaching methodology prepare students for their future career in the best possible way.
Which career opportunities do I have?
The primary aim of the teacher training programme is the professional, didactical, academical and pedagogical-practical training for teaching Spanish in secondary schools.
Why Salzburg?
The Department of Romance Studies at the University of Salzburg offers students an excellent student-to-staff ratio.
