You will gather qualifications in the following areas of expertise: – Research and development in health care, pharmacology or pharmaceutical technology, but also in quality management and control related to marketing and sales of product lines coming out of such businesses – supervised team work in the context of clinical studies and epidemiological investigations – medicinal and medical-technical research and development Based on appropriate prior education (economics, modern languages, …) or further training (relevant non-university qualifications), other occupational fields are: – health economics – science communication and education – public administration
What makes Salzburg so special as a place to study?
In addition to the high-quality training, the study plan scores with small group sizes and thus more intensive supervision in the practical courses. We provide sufficient places for compulsory courses, which means that there are almost no waiting times and study delays.
Which career opportunities do I have?
With the solid and combinational education in biolgical and analytical subjects, students acquire a set of tools which will allow them to meet the challenges of modern professional life. Graduates can choose from a broad variety of careers in private and public enterprises and institutions. Occupations for graduates in Molecular Biosciences include research in the fields of pharmacy and biomedics, biotechnology, biological and environmental analysis, and medical-diagnostic analysis. There is also a range of possible occupations in the fields of healthcare, medicine and environment, as well as in public administration and adult education.
