Sharing Technologies

Numerous cooperation projects in the field of knowledge and technology transfer bring top research from the University of Salzburg to society.

Research is currently being carried out in a  Christian Doppler Laboratory in close contact with corporate partners, the current research areas are  earth observation based technologies for humanitarian actions.

The  Digital Innovations Hub West, an association of western Austrian universities and local agencies, supports small and medium-sized companies in their digital transformation. Companies benefit directly from university know-how, e.g. in the area of Industry 4.0 and eServices.

The  Knowledge Transfer Center West focuses primarily on the networking of science, society and economy, making university research visible and better economically exploited, through novel approaches.

The  Research Infrastructure Database of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research offers an overview on the technical equipment of the University of Salzburg.

The University of Salzburg cooperates in numerous third-party funded projects with partners from science and industry. An overview of the research projects at PLUS can be found in the   PLUS Research information portal.
