My Research Interests
My research focusses on motivated social cognition and intergroup processes, particularily in the context of personal threat and need deprivation. I investigate how people cope with different kinds of threat, such as control threat or uncertainty, and the role of groups as a coping ressource. Especially, the role of collective agency and its relation to change processes are part of my research interest.
