Research Agenda: Covid Pandemic – Democracy – Populism
Research in this area is devoted to the question of the subjective affectedness of citizens by the COVID-19 pandemic and what impact this has on political behavior. Particular emphasis is placed on the interaction between populism and the pandemic, or between concern and populist or radical attitudes. In connection with this topic we also conducted our own survey in Austria. Several project proposals and studies are currently in progress.
