Annika Püschner has been a doctoral student in political science methods at the University of Salzburg since October 2024. She completed her bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of Heidelberg in 2022, with her bachelor’s thesis focusing on the relationship between beliefs in political efficacy and voting for populist parties. She then pursued a master’s degree from 2022 to 2024, during which she wrote her master’s thesis on the individual and contextual socio-economic determinants of support for climate change policies. During her studies, she also worked as a research assistant at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences. Her research interests include populism, attitudes toward climate change and climate change policies, political participation, and voting behavior.
