• Current project: The Liar and Its Revenge in Context (FWF Grant No. P29716-G24, PI: Julien Murzi). This project systematically explores the limitations of non-classical solutions to the semantic paradoxes and develops a novel, fully classical contextualist approach, one that, unlike existing approaches, allows for absolutely unrestricted quantification.
• Starting in July: Categoricity by Convention. (FWF Grant No. P33708, PI: Julien Murzi). This project develops a moderate inferentialist metasemantics that makes available a unified response to Carnap’s categoricity problem for propositional and first-order logic and to the challenge to mathematical determinacy advanced by (e.g.) Skolem and Putnam.
