We are hiring one PostDoc in the Human Resources Management group at the Department of Business, Paris Lodron University of Salzburg (PLUS).

What we offer

  • Two-year PostDoc position for a minimum monthly salary of € 4.752,30 gross (14 x per year), 40 hours/week;
  • Research at the HRM group is contextually oriented. We investigate how social context affects the design of work and the management of work and people in organizations. The HRM group is active in several national and international networks and projects. Participation in these networks and interdisciplinary projects focusing on (new) work, employment and industrial relations as part of your own research is also expected from successful candidates.

 

Responsibilities

  • Independent research and teaching;
  • scientific support of research and teaching activities and participation in administrative tasks of the HRM Group;
  • independent teaching of four teaching hours per week.

 

Employment requirement

  • completed PhD in social sciences and/or business.

Desired additional qualifications

  • Thematic orientation in research in the field of (new) work, employment relations, industrial relations, contextual HRM
  • Publication experience in double-blind peer reviewed journals
  • Presentation experience at international academic conferences
  • Good knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative empirical research methods
  • Good knowledge of software to support quantitative and/or qualitative empirical research methods
  • Teaching experience in HRM and/or related fields
