Hack for Peace
Dear Student,
Our university (Paris Lodron University of Salzburg PLUS) promotes the participation at Hack for Peace – Do you want to join in?
Many of us feel very concerned about the current situation with war in Ukraine. Many feel they want to contribute but do not know how. Others know great initiatives that search for contributors, or may have ideas but lack time, or hands, or are not in a position where they can implement them. In this hackathon, the organisers want to focus on non-violent initiatives in any fields (communication, psychology, arts, tech…) that contribute to bringing peace between the countries, but also between the people, and within ourselves.
Only together, bringing our knowledge, intelligence and energy, will we be able to bring solutions for Peace. The hackathon is launched to transform ideas to projects or contribute to existing initiatives, bringing together pacifists of all countries, gender, religion, faiths and disciplines to work toward a common goal: Peace.
If you are willing to take part in the event, book your weekend of 7/8 May and May 4 evening.
How to join?
- Please register individually at the Hack for Peace Website and join an idea or virtual team: https://eventornado.com/event/hack-for-peace-ukraine#participate. The official deadline is 01 May.
