Dear Students,

unfortunately, for technical reasons, it is no longer possible to upload the pictures through the website that we’ve already published. Thus,  the photo contest will take place on our Instagram page!

Therefore, already submitted photos must be unfortunately submitted again as follows.

The online photo competition “My stay abroad 2022/23” is now underway – make sure to get involved!

Please upload the most beautiful or original photos taken during your Erasmus+, Study Abroad semester or internship and be in with a chance of winning vouchers to spend in Old Town (Altstadtgutscheine) worth 150, 100, or 75 euros.

The rules are simple: The 3 photos with the most “LIKES” win.

Participation conditions:

• University of Salzburg students who have completed at least one semester abroad with Erasmus+/the Study Abroad program or an internship.
• A maximum of one photo per student can be submitted.
• Photos from EXCURSIONS are NOT eligible!

Submission:

To participate, please use the template attached to provide the following information:

• First & last name
• Title of photo
• A brief photo description
• Host institution
• Host country
• Funding programme (Erasmus+, Study Abroad, ISEP, etc.)
• Instagram username

Technical requirements:

• Photos must be in digital (.jpeg) format.
• The image quality must have a resolution of at least 1920 pixels (longer side) 250dpi.
• File size cannot exceed 3 MB per picture.

• By submitting the photo to our competition you agree that you are the original creator and copyright holder of the photo.
• By sending the photo you agree to the declaration of consent

The winners will be selected via an online voting system (likes).

Voting period: March 1st – 20th, 2023.

The pictures will be presented in a photo exhibition – more information to follow. The award ceremony will take place at the “International Café” event during International Week on March 28, 2023. The winners will be informed and asked to receive the prize personally!
