April 2013: The research group in economics at the University of Salzburg jointly with the University of Innsbruck and the Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO) organizes a workshop in ?Empirical Economics? at the University of Innsbruck. The program in German can be downloaded hier.

November 2011: Benjamin Furlan has been employed as project assistant in the project Wage and Employment Effects of European Mergers and Acquisitions funded by the Austrian National Bank.

November 2009: Harald Oberhofer has been honored for his thesis entitled: Essays on the Economics of Multinational Enterprises with the Award of Excellence 2009 by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research.
