EU hands over project management for the European Media Transparency Database to the PLUS
The EU has been debating the topic of media ownership concentration since the first Green Paper in 1992. Thirty years later, the EU Commission is ready to tackle it again: it is commissioning a monitoring system to assess the economic, political-regulatory and technical risks of media concentration and to back it up with data from member countries.

„Scudo“ at Unipark Nonntal
The Unipark Nonntal is another work of art richer: the immense bronze disc, called “Scudo” by the Italian artist Mimmo Paladino, has landed on our university grounds. Gallery owner Thaddaeus Ropac donated the sculpture to the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg (PLUS).

New member of th Academia Europaea: Charlotte Werndl
Charlotte Werndl, a university professor at the Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Cultural and Social Sciences (KGW), has been invited to become a member of the Academia Europaea. The Academia Europaea is the only pan-European Academy with members from Europe and all over the world.
