The fifth in the working paper series of the Salzburg Contributions to Social Ethics entitled “The Importance of Autonomy for a Good Life Dementia Affected” is now online. The author, Martina Schmidhuber has worked since March at international research center (ifz).

“Poverty and Knowledge: Reproduction and Alleviating Poverty in School and Science” was published under the editorship of Helmut P. Gaisbauer, Elizabeth Kapferer, Andreas Koch and Clemens Sedmak at VS Springer.

The ZEA will hold on 3 and 4 October 2013 with the Department of Philosophy at the University of Salzburg and the Institute for Advanced Studies in Social Ethics, Salzburg, a conference on “Practical Philosophy?” This is explicitly aimed at young scientists from inside all disciplines of practical philosophy.
