Jörg Paetzold wins Kurt Zopf Preis 2022
We are happy to announce that Jörg Paetzold was awarded the Kurt Zopf Prize 2022 for the article “The Intergenerational Causal Effect of Tax Evasion: Evidence from the Commuter Tax Allowance in Austria”. The research was joint work with Wolfgang Frimmel and Martin Halla and was published in the Journal of the European Economic Association.
Jörg Paetzold at the CESifo Institute Munich
Jörg Paetzold is as a visiting researcher at the CESifo Institute in Munich from 28 November to 2 December 2022. During his time at CESifo, he plans to work on the effect of public transport subsidies (e.g. last summer’s 9 Euro Ticket in Germany) on traffic volume and air pollution.
