Alexander K. Wagner awarded OeNB Anniversary Fund
The Austrian National Bank (OeNB) supports the research project “Human-Algorithm Interactions in Economic Decision Making” of Alexander K. Wagner at the PLUS Department of Economics with an Anniversary Fund of about 250K Euros. This project aims to advance the understanding of some of the key changes that human-AI collaborations bring to economic decision making by investigating AI-supported human decision making in two important economic domains: pricing and demand planning.
Florian Huber with top place in the Economics Ranking by WiWo
Florian Huber, Professor of Empirical Macroeconomics at the PLUS Department of Economics, has achieved excellent positions in the most influential Economics Ranking in the German-speaking world, which is presented by Wirtschaftswoche. Florian achieved the 28th place in the 5-year research performance ranking and the 12th place in the ranking of the top researchers under 40 years. This makes him the highest-ranked economist working in Austria in both of these rankings. Congratulations!
