Winter Semester 15/16: 451 participants at the University 55-Plus
As of 4 November, the University 55-PLUS had a total of 451 people enrolled for the winter semester 15/16. This represents an increase of 20 percent over the winter semester last year with 376 registrations. In the winter semester 13/14, the site recorded 308 enrollments.

17 November: Inter-comprehension – an Early, Exciting Research and Practice Field (Lecture and Workshop)
In the 1990s, several projects were carried out that promoted the parallel learning of languages as a “language family”, and thus, the concept of inter-comprehension was brought into the world of language and multilingual didactics. In the beginning, a consensus about the nature of inter-comprehension seemed to prevail, although early on, a comparison of the definitions with the project practice revealed existing tensions.
