Successful Salzburg Team at Telders Moot Court 2016
The annual Telder Public International Law Moot Court is a competition at which this year 25 teams participated from all over Europe. This year’s team at the University of Salzburg – consisting of Simon Burger, Julia Schauer and Jorien Van de Meerssche (under the supervisionof Anne-Carlijn Prickartz LL.M. and Prof. Kirsten Schmalenbach) – very successfully represented the University of Salzburg in the 18-20 May, 2016, final event in The Hague.
Theodor Körner Prize 2016
The Theodor Körner Fund supports young scientists and artists in Austria who excel and whose important contributions to their respective disciplines can be expected. Birgit Birnbacher, a graduate of the University of Salzburg, was awarded in the field of literature for her novel, “Ich in anderem Shirt” (working title).
FWF Honored University of Salzburg Anglicist
Sarah Herbe, Anglicist from the University of Salzburg, has received a two-year grant under the Elise Richter Program. The FWF supports this program for highly qualified scientists in their career development with regard to a university career.
