On 27 April, Ass. Prof. i. R. Dr. Reinhard Rublack passed away. Reinhard Rublack came in the pioneering phase of the University of Salzburg as a graduate theologian (studies, inter alia, Rudolf Bultmann) with Professor Rudolf Gönner from Saarbrücken to the (then) Institute for Education. As early as 1970 he completed his second degree with the interdisciplinary humanities dissertation on “The educational political trend of the ‘Salzburger Intelligenzblatt’ 1784 – 1806.”

The Salzburg University Library, which supports the initiative PLUS Green Campus in many actions, has provided a collection of books on environmental protection, nature and sustainability in the main library (2nd floor, Lesesaalfoyer) and the Fachbibliothek UNIPARK.

In 2019, the University of Salzburg, under the leadership of the European University Institute in Florence, collaborated with euandi  euandi (EU-and-I), a pan-European online help that gives European citizens an overview of the political positions of the national parties in the 28 Member States.
