The German Association for the Study of British Cultures is a relatively young institution which, in turn, takes a strong interest in promoting young researchers. Apart from encouraging graduate and postgraduate students as well as post-docs to have their own representative in the advisory committee, BritCult offers annual workshops traditionally named Weiterbildungsseminare.
