17 – 18 March: Conference ‘TTIP, CETA, TiSA’
On 17 and 18 March, ECSA Austria, the Salzburg Centre for European Studies ( SCEUS Salzburg University), the University of Innsbruck and the Vienna University of Economics will hold the international conference “TTIP, CETA, TiSA – New Orientations for EU External Economic Relations?” International experts come to Salzburg to discuss current issues and problems of world trade.
Estrogen facilitates learning vocabulary. Salzburger researchers launch study on the influence of hormones on language processing.
In a collaborative project, linguists and neuroscientists at the University of Salzburg investigate the influence of hormones on how the brain processes information in learning language. The focus is the question of what role the female sex hormone estrogen plays in neurocognition of language. There is evidence that estrogen facilitates the learning vocabulary.
