KinderUNI Enroute in the Region
The “KinderUNI unterwegs” travels this year with knowhow into the Pongau region. To start, it is setting up station in Bischofshofen. On 16 & 17 May, 2017, the University of Salzburg, together with the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, the EuropeDirect Information Center Salzburg Süd and the Salzburg Academy, will offer a colorful, free program.
Julia Lajta-Novak Appointed as a Member of the ÖAW “Junge Akademie”
A total of 34 researchers were newly admitted to the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW). Julia Lajta-Novak, Habil-Stipendiatin für Englische Literatur- und Kulturwissenschaft, Universität Salzburg, was appointed to the “Junge Akademie”.
8 -12 May: 9th Salzburger Stefan Zweig Poetry Lecture “Ann Cotten: Was geht?”
Ann Cotten, one of the most unconventional writers of the younger generation, will provide information on the varied facets of her work 8 – 12 May. On Tuesday, 9 May, 20:00, at the Edmundsburg, she will present her latest book “Jikiketsugaki.Tsurezuregusa”.
