“Erwin-Kräutler-Preis” goes to Sebastian Pittl und Stefan Silber
On 3 October, 2017, the Center for Theology Intercultural and Study of the Religions of the University of Salzburg awarded the Erwin Kräutler Prize for the fourth time. This year, the award went to theologians Sebastian Pittl (IWM St. Georgen) and Stefan Silber (University of Osnabrück).
4 – 15 October: Exhibition “Help at Close Range”
“Help at Close Range” is an exhibition of the aid organization Doctors Without Borders (MSF). MSF gives visitors an insight into how humanitarian relief works. The Department of Geoinformatics – Z_GIS shows how satellite images and spatial analysis help to plan these operations more efficiently. The exhibition will be held 4 – 15 October at the Salzburger Mozartplatz.
