Eight student teachers from the University of Salzburg have received a certificate for the completion of the basic module of the study supplement “Bewegtes Lernen”.

Univ.Asst. Dr. Paul Keckeis receives the Wendelin Schmidt-Dengler-Prize 2016 from the Austrian Society for German Studies (ÖGG) for his dissertation in the field of German Studies.
Portrait of Hans Lechner Unveiled at the University of Salzburg
A portrait of Hans Lechner, Landeshauptmann (State Governor)of Salzburg from 1961 to 1977, has been unveiled at the University of Salzburg. The oil painting, by Hans Szyszkowitz, was created in 1978. It was handed over by the Lechner family to the University, and is now showcased in the Chancellery’s Rectorate foyer. This year it is 50 years since Lechner was appointed the first honorary sponsor of the university.
