At the end of November, Mayor Heinz Schaden presented the City of Salzburg’s cultural prize for exceptional achievements in the fields of art and science at the TriBühne Lehen. The historian Ernst Hanisch was honored for his life’s work, for his essential contributions to the reconstruction of the history of the city of Salzburg in national socialism.

At the seventh “International Congress on Science and Skiing (ICSS)” in St. Christoph am Arlberg, organized by the Department of Sports and Kinesiology/USI at the University of Salzburg, numerous renowned scientists present the most important research results from Alpine and Nordic skiing with 103 presentations and 63 scientific posters.
