Christiane Baumeister (U Notre Dame) visits Department of Economics
Christiane Baumeister, the Lambert Family Professor and Co-Chair of the Department of Economics at the University of Notre Dame, visited our department from July 10th to 13th. During her visit, Christiane actively collaborated with members of the PLUS Department of Economics on projects involving the integration of micro and macroeconomic data in econometric models, as well as nonparametric techniques for oil price forecasting.
CIVIS BIP: Participatory Tools for Urban Planning and Management – Presence Phase in Salzburg
From June 19th to 23rd, 2023, teachers and students from CIVIS partner universities visited Paris Lodron University Salzburg as part of a Blended Intensive Program (BIP). These interuniversity courses are characterized by a hybrid model that combines monthly online lectures with a final blocked presence phase.
