From 31 July to 04 August 2023 | in presence: The second Crossculture Religious Studies Summer School 2023 will take place within the framework of the Salzburg University Weeks at the Faculty of Catholic Theology (KTH) of Paris Lodron University Salzburg (PLUS). Participation is open to all interested parties. Salzburg is not only known for the Salzburg Festival, but also for its delicious pastries, its green city mountains and its beautiful lakes.

The manuscript “Bootstrapping Dynamic Distance Oracles” by Sebastian Forster,  Gramoz Goranci,  Yasamin Nazari, and Antonis Skarlatos has been accepted to the 31st Annual European Symposium on Algorithms (ESA 2023).

Christiane Baumeister, the Lambert Family Professor and Co-Chair of the Department of Economics at the University of Notre Dame, visited our department from July 10th to 13th. During her visit, Christiane actively collaborated with members of the PLUS Department of Economics on projects involving the integration of micro and macroeconomic data in econometric models, as well as nonparametric techniques for oil price forecasting.
