The increasing digitization of all areas of life does not stop at the humanities. More and more projects are using information technologies to harness the associated benefits for scientific research. They face the problem of how to back up the data collected and ensure access to these data when the projects are over and the funding is discontinued.

Sports Scientist Hermann Schwameder Receives the “Geoffrey Dyson Award” from the International Society of Biomechanics in Sports

This year’s highest honor of the International Sports Biomechanics Society, the Geoffrey Dyson Award, is awarded to sports biomechanics professionals who have made outstanding contributions to the transfer of scientific knowledge from the field of Sports Biomechanics in sports practice with coaches and athletes, as well as in the teaching of sports biomechanics at universities.
