Orientation Days 24 – 26 September, 2019
In order to make it easier for new students to start their studies, the University of Salzburg offers Orientation Days held the last week of September. During this time, undergraduates receive information about our university’s central facilities around study, introduction to the IT infrastructure and much more.
City Seal in Gold for Outgoing Rector Heinrich Heinrich Schmidinger
On 17 September, 2019, Prof. Heinrich Schmidinger, the outgoing Rector of the University of Salzburg, was awarded the city seal in gold by Mayor Harry Preuner for his services to the city of Salzburg.
Feigl Prize of the Austrian Society for Analytical Chemistry
Dr. Therese Wohlschlager will be awarded the Feigl Prize of the Austrian Society for Analytical Chemistry on lthe 25th of September, 2019, during the 18th Austrian Chemistry Days 2019 in Linz.
