Martin Niedermeier Receives the Fritz Grasenick Prize for Study on Toxins in Algae

For his publication on the detoxification of the metals strontium and barium in the cells of the moor green alga Micrasterias, the Salzburg biologist Martin Niedermeier received the Fritz Grasenick Prize 2018 of the Austrian Society for Electron Microscopy (ASEM) in the field of Life Sciences.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Heinz Fischer opens a junior scientific conference on „Die Krise des demokratischen Rechtsstaats im 21. Jahrhundert.
