Markus Ellmer BSc MSc, a university assistant in Human Resource Management, was awarded the Best PhD Paper Award in Milan at the International E-HRM Conference for the PhD paper, written jointly with Astrid Reichel, “An affordance approach to eHRM-based employee voice”.

For the 6th time, the AK Wissenschaftspreis was awarded in Salzburg on 3 December. Honored in the category of “Business and Law” was Thomas Kukla, LLM oec. with his Master’s thesis on “HR-Analytics in Business and Data Protection Context with Special Consideration of the General Data Protection Regulation” (Main Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Astrid Reichel, Supervisor: Markus Ellmer MSc).

The traditional pre-Christmas book bazaar at the University Library Salzburg (UBS) earned of €5650 in 2018, which will be donated to DEBRA AUSTRIA this year. The sale of used, no longer borrowed books creates a much-needed space at UBS and at the same time supports a social project.
