Z_GIS, an established and widely acknowledged Centre of Excellence in GIScience, is setting benchmarks in conceptual, methodological and applied aspects of geo-spatial research. As ?experts for the spatial view? we analyse causes, mutual relationships and temporal dynamics of various spatial phenomena.

The Centre for Geoinformatics is offering this annual forum to the worldwide geoinformatics community, bringing together English-speaking researchers and practitioners across disciplines and industries. Simultaneously, the GI_Forum connects participants into a well established co-located regional symposium – Applied Geoinformatics (AGIT) – sharing the state-of-the art AGIT-EXPO exhibit.

Die AGIT 2006 – Symposium und Fachmesse für Angewandte Geoinformatik an der Naturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Universität Salzburg wurde von 5. bis 7.
