The department of computer sciences organizes an information day, the so-called „I-Day“, which offers interested students and individuals the opportunity to learn about computer science studies in Salzburg. Our paper „Efficient Computation of the Tree Edit Distance“ from the Database Research Group has been published in ACM Transactions on Database Systems (TODS), one of the most renowned journal in the database community.

Die Universität Salzburg und die Universität Linz bieten in diesem Sommersemester eine gemeinsame Ringvorlesung „Disability Studies“ an. Diese wird am 29./30. Mai 2015 in Linz abgehalten. Forscherinnen und Forscher sowie Kulturschaffende präsentieren aus aktuellen Arbeiten und setzen sich mit dem Phänomen Behinderung im Kontext von Partizipation, Inklusion, Repräsentation, Kunst und kulturellen Formen in Österreich auseinander.
