Faculty of Law Celebrates Golden Graduations
Together with the Alumni Club, the Faculty of Law has invited its graduates to celebrate their 40th and 50th anniversaries. The evening before, Rector Hendrik Lehnert and Dean Johannes Michael Rainer greeted the guests with a drink in the Sala Terrena. On Friday, 25 October, followed the academic celebration with Vice-Dean Peter Mader. The ceremonial address was given by Georg Lienbacher, Chairman of the University Council.

The WissensNetzwerk Recht, Wirtschaft und Arbeitswelt der Universität Salzburg has organized a symposium, which will be held the 31st of October, 2019, on income taxation of partnerships (co-entrepreneurship).
Prize for Innovative Statistics Master’s Thesis
On 24 October, Victoria Racher was awarded the “Förderpreis der Österreichischen Statististischen Gesellschaft” by Statistics Austria in Vienna for her Master’s thesis on “Nonparametric Approaches to Approximate Bayesian Computation”.
