Recent results (05.02.21) of the study “Knowledge of and attitudes towards Corona”, initiated by Univ.-Prof. Manuel Schabus, includes data from a total of 3,606 adults living in Austria (64.2% female, 35.5% male, 0.3% diverse).

The restrictions of the pandemic – not only at the university – are becoming even more testing. Thank to everyone who, despite all the difficulties, has helped to keep the university running as best they can.

Christoph von Hagke took on his professorship post in geology at the PLUS on 1st October 2020. His research focuses on the interactions between mountain formation processes and climate change of both past and present, including in the foothill of the Alps. He wants to develop geology in Salzburg into a hub for interdisciplinary research, and to pique the interest of even more international students.
